Key People

Mr. Scagliarini is the CEO of the Group, at the top of the entire organizational structure of GVS.

With over 35 years of experience, he has led the division operating in the medical sector and turned it into the most successful division of the Group.

Born in Bologna on August 3, 1965, and earned a degree in accounting from the I.C. Renato Fucini Institute in Rome.

He began his career as an operator for Diego Nardi S.n.c. of San Giovanni in Persiceto.

In 1985, he joined GVS as an operator quickly moved to a role in commercial sales in the medical sector, and then became a sales manager.

Over the years, he has taken on increasing responsibilities for GVS’ activities, dealing with marketing and quality control.

Since 1995, Mr. Scagliarini has also managed human resources and trade union relations.

In 2002, he also took over the general management of GVS do Brasil, and currently holds various positions and managerial roles in most of the companies.

Since 2004, he has worked in GVS general management.  

Marco Pacini was born in 1971.

He graduated with honors in Economics from “La Sapienza” University in Rome and holds a Master degree in Management, Accounting, and Corporate Finance at the University of Turin.

He began his career in Fiat and he has gradually expanded and strengthened his skills in the Finance field by working in various companies of the Group, both in Italy and abroad.

In 2017 he moved to Fiera Milano, listed on the STAR segment of the Italian Stock Exchange, assuming the role of Chief Financial Officer. Between 2021 and 2022 Pacini gained also significant experience in the consumer electronics sector as CFO of the Italian-listed company UniEuro.

From January 2023 he joined GVS in the role of Chief Financial Officer.

Mr. Viola was born in Mantova on September 17, 1974.

He graduated with a degree in Business Economics at the University of Parma.

He began his career in 1999 at Burgo Group, where he held roles of increasing responsibility in the area of management control. In 2008, he left Burgo Group to join GVS as a Controller.

In 2012, he took on the role of Vice-President of the System & Process Division, with responsibility for our information systems and process optimization, as well as functions relating to management control.

Since 2013, he has served as our Chief Operating Officer. In 2017, he was appointed member of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of the newly-acquired U.S. subsidiary GVS Filtration Inc.

Since January 2018, he has also been a member of the Board of Directors.

Andrea Zanaboni born in 1974 in Greenwich, USA. 

Andrea holds a degree in Environmental Toxicology from the University of Pavia, an Executive MBA from Bocconi School of management, and attended the Chief Marketing Officer program at Kellogg University.

Andrea began his career in R&D in the life sciences sector in DuPont. He then transitioned to regional and global sales & marketing positions and has worked for Monsanto and Syngenta. 

Since 2017 he shifted to the constriction technology sector as global marketing director at Hilti and Carrier Global.

He has gained extensive business knowledge in R&D, Sales and Marketing, covering several markets, diverse product lines and B2B and B2C go-to-market business models.

Since March 2024 he joined GVS as group Chief Marketing Officer. 

MSc Engineering from University of Bologna, MBA from Bologna Business School.

In GVS since 1998, has covered different managerial positions.

She was born on March 23, 1987, she graduated in Management Engineering at the Alma Mater Studiorum University in Bologna.

She began her professional career in a management consulting company, from 2011 she started working in the Human Resources field in Coesia SpA and then in Officine Maccaferri.

From September 2021 she joined GVS with the role of Corporate HR Director.

She was born in Albania in 1981, she holds a Law degree from the University of Rome Tor Vergata and began her career in Rome in a leading law firm where she focused on issues related to competition, regulated markets, and the energy sector.

In September 2010 she joined Snam SpA and held roles of increasing responsibility within the Legal Department. In 2017 she became Secretary of Snam's Board of Directors and in 2019 Senior Vice President Governance, Risk and Control. She served as Board member in Italian and foreign companies in the gas infrastructure sector.

She is General Manager of the Italian Association of Board Secretaries (AISCA) and Alumna of IntheBoardroom by ValoreD.

From October 2021 she joined GVS with the role of General Counsel.

In GVS since 2000, previously a sales manager in Comar Condensatori S.p.A. and in SMS Sistemi & Microsistemi s.r.l. were he started his career.

Master Degree in International Business and Finance from Université de la Meditérannée (Marseille).

In GVS spa since 2013, previously worked for JSP ltd (UK) for 10 years as Commercial Director.

Was born in Bologna on July 14, 1973.

He graduated in Electronic Engineering at the Alma Mater Studiorum University in Bologna, Executive Master in Business Administration (EMBA) with ALMA GRADUATE SCHOOL in Bologna.

He began his career as sales in SELCOM GROUP, a contract manufacturing company leader in development and production of customized electronic boards.

In 2016, he joined GVS as key account manager then, from 2019, as regional manager Europe.

From May 2023 he took on the role of VP Director of Energy & Mobility Division.
