GVS considers innovation one of the pillars of its strategy continuous improvement of the process, with particularly care of energy consumption, waste and scrap minimization are key factors of the strategy implementation.

GVS takes care of natural resources utilized in its manufacturing process, privileging responsible energy and minimizing water consumption and non recyclable waste.

“Climate change impacts natural and human systems globally through the increase of globally averaged surface temperature, extreme weather events, changing precipitation patterns, rising sea levels and ocean acidification. The world must transform its energy, industry, transport, food, agriculture and forestry systems to ensure that cumulative net emissions do not exceed one trillion tonnes of cumulative carbon, which implies global net zero emissions by the second half of the century.”

The environmental policy defined by GVS is the guideline to improve the environmental impacts of its activities. It includes the following commitments: to continuously improve the management system and to prevent pollution, to comply with applicable legal requirements concerning its environmental aspects, and, finally, it provides a reference for establishing and reviewing environmental objectives and targets. GVS is very active in raising awareness among its employees to reduce the environmental impact of emissions.
